Dead & Company wrapped a historic three-night run at San Francisco’s Polo Field, celebrating 60 years of Grateful Dead magic in true psychedelic fashion. With original members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart joined by John Mayer, the band delivered marathon sets to nearly 180,000 fans across the weekend.
Each night brought surprise guests—Billy Strings, Sturgill Simpson (aka Johnny Blue Skies), and Trey Anastasio—while Phil Lesh’s son, Grahame, brought an emotional moment playing his dad’s bass on Sunday.
From “Scarlet Begonias” to “Touch of Grey,” the music echoed across the park as Deadheads packed Shakedown Street, the city lit up in tie-dye, and even a street was renamed for Jerry Garcia.
Whether it was the last ride or just another chapter, one thing’s clear: the Dead ain’t done yet.
