On August 1st, Vince Neil, the frontman for Mötley Crüe, made his stage comeback for the first time since September of last year at the MGM Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts.
Due to Neil’s need for an unannounced medical treatment, Crüe had to postpone their April residency in Las Vegas, Nevada, and their May appearance at the “Boardwalk Rock” festival in Ocean City, Maryland.
Neil talked about his time off the stage although he did not go into depth about the severity of his health issues.
He told the crowd, “Hey, thank you, everybody. It’s good to be here. I haven’t been on stage since almost a year now. I had a medical thing that happened to me, and they said I wouldn’t be back on stage here. I said, ‘F**k that, man.’ And I’m back and I’m with you guys tonight. And I’m really proud to be here, man. Thank you so much.”
