
Legendary singer and rock star Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76, the former Black Sabbath star’s family announced in a statement on Tuesday. His death comes five years after it was revealed that Osbourne had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
The statement reads as follows:
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
Osbourne was born in England on December 3, 1948. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his sons Louis and Jack, and his daughters Kelly and Aimee.
