Metallica is sharing a recent performance of “Creeping Death” from the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York.
There were more than 47,500 fans in attendance, breaking the venue’s previous attendance record.
The circular stage design allowed fans to fill seats around the entire stadium, exceeding the official capacity for football games at Syracuse University.
The “M72” world tour, which started in 2023, has been praised by fans and critics alike, with the 2025 itinerary continuing the tradition of No Repeat Weekends and featuring different setlists and support lineups.
The 2025 North American leg of the tour includes shows at football stadiums and a festival headline at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, with support from bands like Pantera, Limp Bizkit, and Ice Nine Kills.
Some proceeds from ticket sales will go to local charities through the band’s All Within My Hands foundation, which has raised over $15 million for various causes since its establishment in 2017.
