Kerry King made a special live appearance at Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas, playing WWE superstar Damian Priest to the ring for one of the most metal entrances in Wrestlemania history.
King shredded his way through the track “Rise For The Night” as Priest emerged behind him, flanked by pillars of flame and rolling fog.
WWE hall of famer Adam ‘Edge’ Copeland previously used Slayer’s “South Of Heaven” for his entrance at Wrestlemania 39.
Damian Priest expressed how heavy metal has shaped his character and been a huge influence on him, stating, “Music in general, it moulds your character.”
Kerry King will reunite with Slayer for several shows this year, including two UK shows with Amon Amarth, Mastodon, Anthrax, Hatebreed, and Neckbreakker, as well as Black Sabbath’s farewell show in July.
