Lenny Kravitz was not aboard a private jet that crashed in Florida on November 1, killing all nine people on board. The rock star’s representative dismissed viral reports linking him to the tragedy, calling the claims “untrue and incorrect.” The confusion began after a social media post attributed to a pilot mentioning an upcoming flight with Kravitz circulated online. The pilot later clarified that she was not involved in the crash. The Learjet 60 was traveling from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when it went down in a residential area of Palm Beach County.
According to air traffic control recordings, the flight crew reported icing, turbulence, and precipitation before the aircraft entered a rapid descent. Among the victims was 20-year-old co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, whose identity was reported by family members. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash, with officials working to determine what caused the aircraft to go down.
