Joe Perry announced he will not attend the West Coast premiere of the Hollywood Vampires documentary, stating, “I’m sorry to say that with Aerosmith performing together for the first time in three years… it’s become clear that I won’t be able to break away to attend personally.”
Fans were disappointed by Perry’s absence, especially since he had attended the film’s Boston world premiere, highlighting his busy schedule with Aerosmith and the Hollywood Vampires.
The Hollywood Vampires, formed in the 1970s as a drinking gang, have evolved since their 2012 reformation, with Perry and Depp joining Cooper to perform regularly, showcasing their musical legacy.
The band recently completed a two-month European tour and is gearing up for two shows at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring notable guests like Slash and Duff McKagan, emphasizing their enduring popularity.
There is currently no information on whether Aerosmith plans to tour or resume a Vegas residency following their upcoming shows, leaving fans eager for future announcements.
