System of a Down have officially announced a massive stadium concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, scheduled for June 5, 2027. The highly anticipated performance will feature special guest Pierce the Veil and marks the band’s first-ever appearance at the iconic venue. The announcement follows a series of mysterious promotional teasers spotted throughout Los Angeles, including rose imagery and projections that sparked speculation among fans. The Rose Bowl concert will be System of a Down’s only North American performance in 2027.
The announcement comes following the band’s successful European stadium tour and the 25th anniversary celebration of their landmark album Toxicity. The Los Angeles-based metal group, known for hits including “Chop Suey!,” “Toxicity,” and “B.Y.O.B.,” continues to draw massive audiences worldwide. Before returning to Southern California, System of a Down will perform international dates in Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand in early 2027.
Tickets for the Rose Bowl concert will be available through an artist presale beginning Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m. PT, with registration required by Wednesday, October 21, at 9 p.m. PT. General ticket sales begin Monday, October 26, at 10 a.m. PT. With only one North American show planned for 2027, the Pasadena performance is shaping up to be a major event for Southern California rock and metal fans.
