Nita Strauss returned to Alice Cooper’s band in Las Vegas for an NFL halftime show after being on maternity leave.
Strauss performed a set of three early 1970s hits with Cooper’s band: “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “I’m Eighteen,” and “School’s Out.”
Anna Cara filled in for Strauss during her maternity leave and impressed Cooper and the band with her playing and attitude.
Strauss is set to make a permanent return to the band in the coming weeks, starting with a show at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL.
Cooper expressed excitement about welcoming Strauss back to close out the 2026 touring season and praised her return after starting a family.
