Queens of the Stone Age have released their new single “Where The Goth Girls At?” as the third cut from their upcoming album “Perfecth.”
Frontman Josh Homme describes the track as inspired by teenage love and the desire to impress others, saying, “Watching the goth girls working the counter at JCPenney… that’s when I knew the only place I want to be is where the goth girls at.”
The band collaborated with directors Christopher Gruse & Tony Wolski for the video of “Where The Goth Girls At?” featuring comedian Steve Agee, dancer/artist Scarlett Kapella, and singer/actress Lou Lou Safran.
The album “Perfecth” is named as such because Homme believes that “perfect” has never been honest, leading to the creation of the term “perfecth” to reflect imperfection.
The album, produced by Homme and Michael Shuman, will be available in various formats, including a limited Deluxe Edition with handwritten lyrics, stationary, and bespoke art.
