Ministry’s new single “Singularity” warns of a robotic takeover with the lyrics, \”Your time on this planet has passed … we are in control,\” reflecting fears of A.I. dooming humanity.
The song is part of Ministry’s upcoming final album, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), set for release on October 30, marking the end of a 45-year career that has shaped industrial music.
Frontman Al Jourgensen expresses his contentment with ending the band’s journey, stating, “I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done. It’s time to herd goats.”
The album features a collaboration with legacy member Paul Barker on the final track “We’re Still Here” and includes contributions from current bandmates like guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto.
Ministry will embark on an international goodbye tour in 2027, starting with the “Goodbye Europe” tour featuring special guest DIE KRUPPS, followed by a U.S. run, with exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities with Al Jourgensen during the European dates.
