Gibson will release the ultra-limited Billy Gibbons “Pearly Gates” 1959 Les Paul Standard Collector’s Edition, accompanied by an in-person experience and live music performance by Billy Gibbons at the Gibson Garage Nashville.
The Collector’s Edition is meticulously aged by the Murphy Lab to match the current condition of “Pearly Gates” and features recreations of the original P.A.F. humbuckers.
The name “Pearly Gates” originates from a 1939 Packard that Gibbons loaned to an actress, leading to the purchase of the 1959 Les Paul Standard that inherited the name.
Only 30 Gibson Custom Billy Gibbons “Pearly Gates” 1959 Les Paul Standard Collector’s Edition guitars will be created worldwide, each personally hand-signed by Billy Gibbons.
The 30 collectors who purchase the guitar will receive exclusive admission to the Billy Gibbons Pearly Gates Experience at the Gibson Garage Nashville, featuring live music, a Q&A with Billy Gibbons, and more.
