The Black Crowes and Whiskey Myers performed at Pine Knob Music Theatre near Detroit, where The Black Crowes covered The Stooges’ “1969.”
The Black Crowes opened their set with “Remedy” and included tracks from their second album, “The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion.”
The band also covered Led Zeppelin’s “The Rover,” The Velvet Underground’s “Oh Sweet Nuthin’,” and Otis Redding’s “Hard To Handle” during the concert.
The Black Crowes closed the show with a faithful rendition of The Stooges’ “1969,” marking only the second time they have performed the song, with the last performance in 1999.
