Metallica closed their three-year M72 world tour with a Black Sabbath tribute at London Stadium.
Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo played part of “Electric Funeral” during the show’s two-man “doodle” section.
Trujillo paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, saying, “Ozzy we love you and we miss you brother.”
The London Stadium show marked the end of 99 M72 performances and featured a 16-song setlist.
Metallica will continue their tour with a 24-date residency in Las Vegas starting on Oct. 1, 2026.
