Slayer guitarist Kerry King and his solo band performed live for the first time in nine months at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The setlist included Slayer classics like “Repentless,” “Raining Blood,” and “Black Magic”, as well as tracks from his solo debut album “From Hell I Rise.”
King was scheduled to enter the studio in April 2026 to record the follow-up album to “From Hell I Rise,” with a new tour planned for early 2027.
King’s new band includes Mark Osegueda, Phil Demmel, Kyle Sanders, and Paul Bostaph, with all material for “From Hell I Rise” written by King.
