Many rock bands famously grow apart once they become famous – but Def Leppard doesn’t seem to have that problem.
Guitarist Phil Collen says he and his bandmates still enjoy “hanging out with each other” after all these years: “It’s like being a child. You can still hang out with your buddies at school. It’s that kind of thing.”
Collen added “We’ve been through so much together… births, deaths, marriages, divorces, family members going, all of this stuff, pets, dogs, you name it.”
Def Leppard completed their third Las Vegas residency earlier this year and has put together an all-new visual and lighting design for their live show.
Collen highlighted the band’s commitment to enhancing their live show, mentioning the collaboration with Montreal-based Luz Studio for a new visual and lighting design, stating, “Our new production is brand new… the most amazing set we’ve ever had.”
