With AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 set for San Jose, Tony Khan believes All Elite Wrestling is performing at its highest level yet.
Speaking with 107.7 The Bone’s Baby Huey, Khan previewed a stacked Forbidden Door card while reflecting on AEW’s momentum heading into one of its biggest events of the year. He credited the company’s success to its roster, creative consistency, and strong partnerships with promotions including NJPW, CMLL and Stardom.
Khan also addressed Paul Heyman’s recent praise of AEW, saying the comments were especially meaningful given Heyman’s influence on modern professional wrestling. He discussed Darby Allin’s evolution into a world champion, Kevin Knight’s breakout as TNT Champion, Andrade’s successful return, and the constant challenges of booking live television.
