As Killswitch Engage continues celebrating the success of This Consequence, frontman Jesse Leach says the band’s latest album represents growth, collaboration, and a willingness to embrace change.
Speaking with 107.7 The Bone’s Baby Huey, Leach discussed how the band’s songwriting process pushed him outside his comfort zone, ultimately resulting in stronger material. He also shared his thoughts on the evolving music industry, saying artists must adapt while remaining focused on creating meaningful songs regardless of whether they’re released as albums, EPs, or singles.
Beyond music, Leach offered an honest perspective on mental health, emphasizing the importance of open conversations, self-care, exercise, and seeking support from others. He encouraged people to show themselves grace during difficult times and to remember they’re not alone.
Don’t miss Killswitch Engage this Saturday, June 27th at The Warfield in San Francisco – tickets available here.
