Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder is facing a lawsuit from record producer Robin DiMaggio, who alleges he was denied producer credits and royalties for his work on Felder’s solo projects.
According to the lawsuit, DiMaggio claims he was promised co-producer credit and compensation for his contributions to Felder’s 2019 album American Rock N Roll. While DiMaggio acknowledges receiving approximately $30,000 for his work, he alleges that Felder later withheld the producer credit that would have entitled him to additional royalties and industry recognition.
The complaint further claims similar promises were made regarding a second album project, leading DiMaggio to pursue legal action seeking damages, unpaid compensation, and punitive relief.
Felder, whose guitar work helped define many of the Eagles’ biggest hits, has not publicly responded to the allegations. The case now heads to the courts, where the dispute over credits, royalties, and creative contributions will be decided.
