Dave Grohl has curated a playlist for Apple Music’s Summertime Sounds series titled “Dave Grohl’s Summer Cookout Jams” inspired by his love for barbecuing.
The playlist includes 45 tracks featuring artists like Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Pretenders, Beastie Boys, Beck, and The Breeders.

Grohl quoted the title of the song “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers, stating, “Any day spent at a barbecue with your friends is, indeed, a lovely day.”
Grohl’s summer plans include a North American stadium tour with the Foo Fighters in support of their new album, “Your Favorite Toy.”
