Shinedown’s latest single, “Safe And Sound,” has reached No. 1 on the Mediabase Active Rock chart, marking the band’s 25th No. 1 at the format and extending their record for the most No. 1 songs in Mediabase Active Rock chart history.
The band’s success with “Safe And Sound” comes at a significant time as they gear up for the release of their new album, “Ei8ht,” on May 29 via Atlantic Records.
Shinedown’s recent achievements include a standout performance on the grand finale of “American Idol” and headlining the Sonic Temple festival.
The band has kicked off the “Dance Kid Dance Act II” world tour, spanning 11 countries and more than 50 dates across North America and Europe, with a philanthropic initiative to donate $1 from every ticket sold to City Of Hope, a cancer research and treatment organization.
