Sir Mick Jagger met Robert Smith outside a London studio and invited him to collaborate on The Rolling Stones’ new album.
The new album, ‘Foreign Tongues,’ features collaborations with Robert Smith, Sir Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, and others.
Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, and Keith Richards discussed the album at a launch event, with Jagger joking about his voice and Richards emphasizing the desire to improve with each project.
The album includes a new single, “In The Stars,” and features core collaborators Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford, and Steve Jordan.
The album cover, designed by Nathaniel Mary Quinn, features the band members’ faces mashed together, and the record is rooted in blues, country, rock, and classic Stones songwriting.
