Rush opened this year’s Juno Awards in Canada with a performance of “Finding My Way,” the first song from their self-titled debut album.
The performance featured the live debut of drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold, with images of the band’s career, including late drummer Neil Peart, displayed on screens.
Geddy Lee mentioned that choosing a song to play was difficult, stating, “If we have to choose one song, it’s almost impossible. We have so many.”
Alex Lifeson humorously added, “Also, it’s the only song we know how to play,” referring to their performance of “Finding My Way.”
This performance marked the first time Lee and Lifeson performed as Rush since their final show with Peart in 2015.
