AC/DC guitarist Stevie Young has been hospitalized in Buenos Aires ahead of the band’s show next week.
The 69-year-old is undergoing tests, but is in good spirits and looking forward to performing on Monday.
The band has faced health-related setbacks over the years, including the death of co-founder Malcolm Young in 2017 and lead singer Bon Scott in 1980.
Current lead singer Brian Johnson had to step away in 2016 due to hearing issues but later returned, while drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams have also cycled in and out of the band.
AC/DC is scheduled to perform in Buenos Aires as part of their “Power Up” tour.
