Ringo Starr has revealed details of his upcoming album Long Long Road, set for release on April 24. The project features an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Sheryl Crow, Billy Strings, and St. Vincent.
The album’s first single, “It’s Been Too Long,” blends country influences with resonant guitar riffs and rich harmonies from Molly Tuttle and Sarah Jarosz. Produced by T Bone Burnett, the record was captured in Nashville with a group of musicians known as the Texans.
Following the album’s release, Starr will take the music on the road with a North American tour beginning in May, continuing the legendary drummer’s decades-long journey as a recording and touring artist.
