Ozzy Osbourne will be immortalized at this year’s Hellfest with the unveiling of a towering six-meter statue celebrating his legendary impact on heavy metal. The monument will be installed near the festival entrance and officially revealed on June 18, with the entire Osbourne family expected to attend the ceremony.
The tribute was first announced by Sharon Osbourne during MIDEM 2026, where she expressed excitement and gratitude for the honor. Sharon also praised Hellfest founder and director Ben Barbaud for overseeing the creation of the statue and recognizing Ozzy’s legacy.
The new monument follows another iconic tribute unveiled at the festival in 2022—a statue honoring Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead, cementing Hellfest’s reputation for celebrating metal’s greatest legends.
