Puddle of Mudd released the official music video for their latest single, “Rain,” which signals a creative rebirth for the band.
Frontman Wes Scantlin describes “Rain” as a song about “standing in the storm instead of running from it,” emphasizing its honesty and authenticity.
The band’s focus is on reconnecting with the emotional core that defined their sound, with producer Eric T. Johnson stating that “Rain” carries the same soul and emotional weight as their classic hit “Blurry.”
Puddle of Mudd’s previous single, “Monsters,” was released in October without prior announcement, showcasing the band’s ongoing musical evolution.
The band’s latest album, “Kiss The Machine,” was released in May 2025, and their current touring lineup includes frontman Wes Scantlin, bassist Michael Anthony Grajewski, guitarist Miles Schon, and drummer Jon Smith.
