Dave Grohl has revealed that his 16-year-old daughter, Harper Grohl, provided vocals on Foo Fighters’ new single, “Your Favorite Toy.” In a recent interview, Grohl explained that the collaboration came together unexpectedly. He initially hoped his daughter Violet would sing on the track, but when plans changed at the last minute, Harper and one of her friends stepped in to record the vocals.
The appearance marks another creative milestone for Harper, who has already contributed to her father’s work in other ways. She previously created artwork for a Foo Fighters single and even joined the band onstage as a drummer during a festival performance in Iceland.
Grohl shared his pride in Harper’s growing musical confidence, calling the moment a glimpse of the next generation stepping forward. For the Foo Fighters frontman, welcoming his daughter into the creative process was both meaningful and inspiring.
