John Corabi is looking back on his time with Mötley Crüe with gratitude, calling the experience both “beautiful” and “eye-opening.” Corabi joined the band in 1992, ushering in a heavier, rawer direction that led to the release of Mötley Crüe in 1994—a record that split fans but showcased a bold shift in sound.
Despite the album’s impact, Corabi admits he’s often felt boxed in by perceptions formed during that era. Still, he continues to evolve creatively. His latest solo effort, New Day, released in April 2025, highlights personal growth and classic rock influences that reflect who he is today.
From leading The Dead Daisies to touring solo, Corabi’s career proves he’s far more than a chapter in Crüe history.
