A rare Ozzy Osbourne rehearsal tape from 1980 was recently discovered in an attic by David Jolly, who befriended Osbourne that year.
The tape features roughly twelve minutes of music from a jam session with Ozzy Osbourne, late guitarist Randy Rhoads, and bassist Bob Daisley.
Bob Daisley, the only surviving member of that era, confirmed the authenticity of the cassette and says it was recorded before drummer Lee Kerslake joined the group: “As soon as I heard it, I thought, yes, that’s us, that’s Ozzy‘s voice.”
A snippet of the bluesy jam was played on a Sky News report available on YouTube.
