Guns N’ Roses released two new singles, “Nothin'” and “Atlas” in December 2025 – and the songs have a surprising connection to Queen guitarist Brian May.
May played on several songs during the Chinese Democracy sessions, including an early version of “Atlas” titled “Atlas Shrugged.”
Slash was surprised to learn about Brian May’s involvement in the genesis of “Atlas” and expressed interest in revisiting the track to play off of May’s contributions.
Slash has worked with Brian May multiple times over the years and considers him one of his all-time favorite guitarists and composers. .
