After years of rumors and delays, Slipknot are officially releasing their long-awaited “lost” album Look Outside Your Window for Record Store Day on April 18, 2026.
Originally recorded in 2008 during the same era as All Hope Is Gone, the project captures a more experimental side of the band. Members have described the material as moodier and more melodic, even hinting at a “Radiohead vibe,” offering a sharp contrast to Slipknot’s trademark aggression.
Percussionist Shawn Crahan and vocalist Corey Taylor have both shared their excitement about finally letting fans hear the shelved recordings, which were first teased back in 2019. The limited vinyl release promises a rare glimpse into the band’s creative evolution—showcasing a different, more atmospheric chapter of Slipknot’s musical journey.
