YouTube featured unofficial releases of a live Led Zeppelin performance at the top of the band’s profile, sparking speculation about new official releases.
The videos of Led Zeppelin’s 1970 Vancouver performance were uploaded by a Dutch company, not by the band themselves.
Sam Rapallo confirmed that Led Zeppelin did not release the live tracks, stating, “Not authorized. It happens sometimes.”
The unofficial videos were attributed to Triple Vision Record Distribution and The Media Champ, causing confusion about their legitimacy.
Fans speculated about the possibility of an official Led Zeppelin live album following the appearance of the unauthorized videos on YouTube.
