Wolfgang Van Halen considers vocals to be the most challenging part of making music, as they require a high level of capability and cannot be easily redone like instruments.
The writing process for music also involves going to a mentally challenging place to create artistically meaningful lyrics, which can be a difficult but rewarding process as well.
Van Halen expressed his dream of touring with AC/DC, a band that holds great importance to him and represents a connection with his father from his younger years.
He explained, “To tour with, I don’t think it would get more legendary than AC/DC. I think that would be a dream come true because I’ve just been such a huge fan of them my whole life, and it’s an important band for my dad and me that we shared. So yeah, AC/DC would probably be that crazy dream of a band. I mean, we’ve been lucky, as you said, to open up for many other bands, but ACDC would be just another insane thing.”
