Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley launched his new clothing brand, Walking Disaster, with a limited-edition first drop that quickly sold out in person but is still available online.
Walking Disaster is a reflection of identity, resilience, and rebellion, with a philosophy of “Own Your Chaos” and a focus on raw, rebellious punk-rock energy.
Whibley’s idea for Walking Disaster as a clothing company dates back to 2008, but he only had the bandwidth to pursue it after SUM 41 ended, allowing him to be creative in a different way.
The line was officially launched at Vans Warped Tour Orlando, where fans lined up for signings with Deryck and to purchase the limited-edition items that sold out.
Whibley, known for his work with SUM 41, has also collaborated with various artists and released a memoir last year. His new venture into fashion with Walking Disaster is an extension of his creative pursuits.a
