Foo Fighters performed their new single “Asking for a Friend” live for the first time during Wednesday’s show in Monterrey, Mexico., on Wednesday.
Frontman Dave Grohl told the crowd it was the first time we’ve ever tried that one live.
The set also featured a rare performance of The Colour and the Shape deep cut “Hey, Johnny Park!,” which the Foos hadn’t played live since 2021.
The studio version of “Asking for a Friend” was released last month and is the second new original Foo Fighters song of 2025, following “Today’s Song,” which debuted in July.
Foo Fighters will continue their tour with a show in Mexico City on Friday and plan to launch a world stadium tour in 2026, starting in Europe in June and coming to North America in August.
