Ace Frehley, the 74-year-old founding guitarist of KISS, passed away on October 16 after suffering blunt trauma to the head following a fall at his New Jersey home studio. The official report from the Morris County Medical Examiner states the fall caused a skull fracture and subdural hematoma, which led to a stroke and ultimately his death, ruled accidental.
Just weeks earlier he had announced a “minor” fall and cancelled several tour dates due to a brain bleed. The rock world mourns the loss of one of its most iconic guitar heroes.
