The Foo Fighters surprised fans in Bakersfield Monday with a pop-up concert at the Nile Theater, with tickets available only in person at the Fox Theater.
Cat Webb, a local fan, eagerly rushed to get a ticket, saying, “I literally jumped off the freeway at Gorman and turned around, left my best friend at Disneyland, and came and got in line.”
Webb, who has been a fan for over 20 years, is excited to share the experience with her grandson, who traveled from San Luis Obispo for his first concert.
DJ Santos, another fan, waited four hours for tickets and said, “It was very worth it. I missed my chance last time they did a live performance. I’m not missing that chance again.”
