Megadeth’s upcoming self-titled final album will include a cover of Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning,” a song co-written by Dave Mustaine.
Mustaine hinted at the inclusion of a cover song he wrote in an interview, suggesting it could be a Metallica song.
Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica before the recording of their debut album but is credited with co-writing songs on their early albums.
Other song titles on the upcoming album include “Tipping Point,” “I Don’t Care,” “Hey God?!”, “Let There Be Shred,” “Puppet Parade,” “Another Bad Day,” “Made to Kill,” and “Obey the Call.”
Megadeth has been slowly revealing the tracklist for the album on their social media pages, with the latest tease hinting at the inclusion of “Ride the Lightning.”
