Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist and co-founder of the legendary rock band KISS, has died at age 74.
His death on October 16, 2025, in Morristown, New Jersey, followed complications from a fall in his studio in September that caused a brain bleed. Known to fans as “The Spaceman,” Frehley helped define KISS’s explosive sound and iconic image, writing and performing classics like “Shock Me” and “Cold Gin.”
