Slayer is celebrating the 35th anniversary of their album “Seasons in the Abyss” with a special track-by-track video feature on their online museum, Slaytanic Verses.
Tom Araya and Kerry King revisit the stories behind all ten tracks from the 1990 classic album, which was produced by Rick Rubin, Andy Wallace, and the band.
The album’s title track famously featured a video filmed at the Great Sphinx of Giza, directed by Di Puglia Gerard and Markus Blunder, just weeks before the Gulf War began.
Slaytanic Verses is offering a limited run of signed collectibles and memorabilia, including artwork from the “Seasons in the Abyss” video shoot, early logo sketches, and more.
Fans can visit the online museum on the band’s webpage to access the full video track-by-track reflection.
