Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley was forced to cancel his appearance at the Antelope Valley Fair after sustaining minor injuries in a fall at his home. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but reports indicate he’s recovering well.
Despite the setback, Ace is staying busy in the studio. He’s working on “Origins Vol. 3” with longtime producer Alex Salzman, continuing the covers series that began with Origins Vol. 1 in 2016. This time around, Ace has compiled a list of about 50 potential tracks, though no final selections have been announced yet.
Frehley’s last covers album, Origins Vol. 2, dropped in September 2020 and featured renditions of classics from The Beatles, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin. More recently, he released 10,000 Volts in February 2024, an album of all-original material. Ace has hinted that guitarist Steve Brown may return for the next full-length original project.
Even with his recent health scare, Ace Frehley shows no signs of slowing down, proving his dedication to music and his fans remains as strong as ever.
