Following the massive success of the 2022 reboot The Batman, the sequel is slated for release on October 1, 2027. Returning cast members include Robert Pattinson as Batman, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin. To maintain secrecy, Reeves revealed that the script is kept in a secure, locked pouch with a code to prevent leaks, ensuring the mystery stays intact until release.
