Foo Fighters are teasing their 2026 tour with a tongue-in-cheek video poking fun at artificial intelligence while championing the human spirit of rock and roll. The clip features bizarre computer-generated versions of the band, including a six-fingered deepfake Dave Grohl and a three-legged AI Pat Smear.
In the parody, an AI Nate Mendel declares, “what you see and hear coming from our speakers is the genuine passion of the six, living, breathing human beings on stage.” The video ends by introducing new drummer Ilan Rubin as a nine-armed, 20-drum, 13-cymbal spectacle, highlighting the absurdity of replacing human energy with machines. Having last performed in the United Kingdom in June 2024, the band is clearly hinting that more live dates are on the horizon for 2026.
