Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is set to hit theaters on October 24, and its first trailer has just dropped. Starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen, the film chronicles the making of Springsteen’s stark 1982 album Nebraska, recorded on a 4-track in his New Jersey bedroom.
The raw, haunted record marked a turning point in his career—when he chose truth over expectation. Director Scott Cooper called it “the most vulnerable chapter of his life,” and Springsteen praised the cast’s “wonderful and moving performances.” Jeremy Strong co-stars as longtime manager Jon Landau, with a cast including Paul Walter Hauser, Odessa Young, Stephen Graham, Gaby Hoffman, and David Krumholtz. Based on Warren Zanes’ book, the film explores the quiet intensity that shaped one of Springsteen’s most enduring works.
