Grateful Dead’s legendary “Steal Your Face” logo has been carved into a 10-acre cornfield maze at Jacob’s Farm in Michigan, celebrating the band’s 60th anniversary. The maze was designed by Beau Shacklette, a self-proclaimed Deadhead, who wanted to honor the band’s lasting impact while drawing visitors to the farm. Exclusive T-shirts featuring the maze design alongside a dancing bear are being sold at the farm, attracting interest from both locals and international fans.
Fifth-generation owner Hiram Witkop notes that Jacob’s Farm also offers a U-pick orchard, restaurant, bar, wedding venue, and hosts a variety of seasonal events. Recognized as a Centennial Farm by the State of Michigan, Jacob’s Farm has become a regional leader in agritourism, blending music-inspired art, agriculture, and tourism for an unforgettable visitor experience.
