Kiss plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their breakthrough album ‘Alive!’ with an expanded version of the double live album.
Original ‘Alive!’ producer Eddie Kramer spent 46 days mixing the new collection, called ‘Kiss Alive! 50.’
The band recorded the original album at four different shows in 1975, with heavy studio overdubs, and also captured daytime rehearsals that contributed to the final product.
Kramer mixed the final album in Dolby Atmos, creating a beautiful package set to be released in late fall.
Release plans for the ‘Kiss Alive! 50’ box set have not been confirmed yet.
