The July 5 “Back to the Beginning” show raised over $200 million for charity – making it the highest-grossing charity concert of all time.
The show surpassed FireAid and Farm Aid combined, and is the most successful charity show since the 1971 Concert for Bangladesh.
The money will go equally to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Acorn Children’s Hospice, and Cure Parkinson’s, with additional donations raised through raffles, auctions, and fan contributions.
The show served as a farewell gig for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, and included bands like Metallica, Pantera, Guns N’ Roses, and many more.
