Shinedown just dropped a new single, “Killing Fields”, which explores the chaos and struggles of modern life with a mix of ambiguity and emotional honesty.
Frontman Brent Smith said the song’s meaning is open to interpretation by the audience: “The audience is the BOSS, and they should have the freedom to interpret it the way they hear it, feel it, and experience it.”
The band is embarking on its largest tour to date, starting on July 19 at Boston’s TD Garden and featuring performances at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden and the Los Angeles Kia Forum.
Shinedown will donate $1 from every tour ticket sold to Musicians On Call, an organization that provides live music to patients in healthcare settings.
