At a recent Green Day concert in Luxembourg, a fan pulled a fast one on the punk icons.
The fan was invited on stage to play acoustic guitar during “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” – but instead he started playing another ’90s ballad, Oasis’ “Wonderwall”.
When he realized the fan was pulling his leg, Armstrong exclaimed, “Oh, f***!” and promptly took back the guitar, ushering the fan off the stage and telling him “Nice try” before playing “Good Riddance” himself.
